Roam Transit offers year round free transit within Canmore, plus (paid) service to Banff and Lake Louise. It is best to book if you wish to travel from Banff to Lake Louise. Route 5C and 5T ride free in Canmore, and Route 3 gets you to Banff. Find route and schedule information here.
With all the amazing public and private transit options available, and the walkable nature of Canmore, you don’t need to worry about arriving by car! Banff Airporter and Brewster Express offer regular airport transfers to and from Canmore.
Paid parking is in effect in downtown Canmore 8 am – 8 pm, 7 days a week. The Town encourages everyone to walk, bike or take the Roam bus to reduce emissions and ease congestion in the busy downtown area.
