Pictures do not do justice to the superb craftsmanship and the stunning views from every window. With only 3 apartments in the building, all located on one floor, it is extremely quiet and private. Please note; there is a restaurant downstairs so there is the potential for some noise on occasion. This apartment is also dog friendly, and is in an excellent location for outdoor walks.
We are perfectly located within walking distance to downtown, great restaurants & bars, coffee shops & supermarkets. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, and the stunning bathroom is stocked with Rocky Mountain Soap Co body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Luxury hotel linens and brand new high-end mattresses complement the chic bedrooms, and ensure a great night's sleep. This apartment is perfectly suited to families or groups of friends. If you are a group needing more than one unit, talk to us about a group booking for all three.

Guests may access all parts of the unit.
2nd Ave lies just off the main access road in and out of Canmore. The condo is perfectly placed for quick access by road to hiking and skiing in Banff National Park. Within a 5 minute walk you can enjoy an incredible meal at Ankor (downstairs) or Crazyweed Kitchen, or grab some freshly roasted coffee to take home from Eclipse Roastery. Supermarkets are a 5 minute walk, and downtown Canmore with its shopping and restaurant scene is a 10 minute walk from the condo.
Local Roam transit is free, check the timetables in the condo. There are connections to Banff and Lake Louise via Roam if you don't fancy driving. We recommend taking public transit to and from Banff if you are only planning on a trip to the town itself. Otherwise a car is useful, or hook up with one of the many tour companies offering to take you to the sights in the park itself.
There is a restaurant downstairs so you may hear occasional noise from guests entering or leaving the premises at night.

My husband and I had a lovely stay here!! Canmore is such a cute town and a 2 min drive from this Airbnb. About a 20 minute drive to downtown Banff which was not bad at all.
It’s a beautiful property! The place was so clean and looked just like the pictures. Also, absolutely loved that they this property does not use chemicals. The soaps/detergent were all environmentally friendly. They had a binder full of recommendations and tips that were very helpful. Pots, pans, laundry detergent, bear spray, etc were all provided.
Check in/out was a breeze because of the clear instructions the hosts provided. They also always responded so fast!
I would highly recommend staying here!!

My boyfriend and I decided to book a last minute trip to Banff and we were lucky to come across the lovely Airbnb! The place was exactly as described. The decor was stunning and had such a homey aesthetic. They had all the amenities with all the kitchen supplies, including coffee beans from their local coffee shop. All the restaurants were very walkable and just a short 20 minute drive from Banff. We highly recommend this Airbnb and will be staying here again on our next visit!

The apartment was bright, cozy, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. We really appreciated the laundry facilities, the dishwasher and the pack n play provided.
The apartment is very centrally located - grocery stores and restaurants all a few minutes away. The views of the mountains were amazing. The host was very responsive and helpful.
If there was one thing that I would change would be to have AC in the unit. We were there on a very warm summer week. However, the host took that into account. There were fans in every room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the salt house condo. We had plenty of room for our family of four. The place was spotless and we enjoyed the Netflix, Amazon Prime streaming services after days of hiking. We appreciated & used the washer & dryer after our hikes.
The condo is located close to Safeway and within minutes of downtown Canmore. It is a great location if you plan to enjoy Banff National Park and the towns of Canmore & Banff. Kitchen was well stocked & had extras like trash bags, dishwasher & laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo, etc. we also appreciated the sustainable and environmentally conscious attention to detail with the personal care and cleaning products as well as the recycling sorting area.

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay. Canmore turned out to be our favorite town in the region (also stayed in Banff and Jasper). New, beautifully finished apartment exactly as described. Lovely views and centrally located. Only three apartments, the other two of which were unoccupied. The building was very quiet which we appreciated. What stood out for me was the comfortable beds, black out blinds and amazing views. We valued the local recommendations provided and Jane was very proactive in her communication and responded to my messages quickly and professionally. We were a family of 3 adults and 2 children. I think a family of 6 would be a bit of a squeeze especially as there is only one bathroom. This is nit picking however and we will choose this apartment next time we're in Canmore.

Felt right at home in this well designed condo in Canmore. Perfect as a base for all our adventures; close to alpine skiing, and next door to world class Nordic center. We had a really great stay at Jane and Shaun’s place. 10/10! It was clear that a lot of care and attention to detail were placed in the furnishings and design of the space. We felt instantly relaxed the moment we stepped in the door, with beautiful mountain scenery right outside the windows, and ample space to set our things down and make ourselves at home. We didn’t have any issues with anything. I believe this is part of a suite of other airbnbs managed by a group, but the hosts were super responsive via message and gave really easy to follow instructions. The place was really clean too, so kudos to the cleaning crew! We would stay here again!

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a home base to explore the mountains. It is located close to the main drag, such that it’s easy to zip off to the ski hill in the morning. It is very close to downtown Canmore, and was exactly as described! We will stay here again!
