El Paraiso - Luxury Downtown Penthouse
Relax in the beautifully appointed living room and enjoy the incredible mountain views of the Rundle and Fairview Ranges, right through to Cascade Mountain in Banff. Warm yourself by the gas fireplace in winter and watch your favorite shows on Netflix on the 55" TV. Or kick back on the deck in the warmer months and cook up a meal on the BBQ. Whatever your fancy, this light-filled space is your home away from home.
The kitchen is incredibly well equipped for guests who like to cook. It is very spacious, and the breakfast bar is a great spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee made from our complimentary fresh local Eclipse coffee beans. The two bedrooms are large and have king beds in each, as well as 55" wall mounted TV's to snuggle up and watch a film. Each bedroom has a dresser as well as a closet, so there's no need to live out of a suitcase here. The master bedroom has a walk through closet and private ensuite with soaker tub, twin vanities, toilet and walk in shower. The guest bathroom offers a tub shower, toilet and vanity. Both bathrooms are stocked with local Rocky Mountain Soap Company shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The spacious living room has a brand new sofa bed for one or two extra guests.
The condo contains a stacked washer and dryer, with complimentary laundry products provided.
This quiet, secure building is literally one block from Main St and all the shopping and eating options Canmore has to offer. There is nothing you can't access within 5-10 minutes walk, including supermarkets and drug stores. A short 5 minute walk takes you to the beautiful Bow River and Riverside Park as well.
Canmore is very "walkable" especially from this location. If you wish to catch public transit the bus stop is 40 metres away. Local transit is free, or you can catch the bus to Banff and Lake Louise as well (charges apply).
The exterior of the building, including all decks, is being renovated for 4 weeks commencing September 29, 2025. This will mean restricted access to the deck, and no BBQ or outdoor furniture is available. If you would like to book during this time we are offering a 15% discount off the nightly rental rate (before taxes).

This condo was perfect for our stay in the Canadian Rockies. Canmore is a nice town with all you need. It is good driving distance from Banff national park and other beautiful spots. Jane is a great host and the condo was clean and well supplied! Highly recommend!

This place was in a nice location with good views, nearby hiking, and many restaurants. Canmore was less crowded than the town of Banff; Banff National Park was an easy 20 minute drive. Jane was prompt and courteous with replies. She had a nice list of restaurants and other helpful info in a book for easy review.

Stayed here at El Paraiso for a nice weekend getaway. If I could give this place 6 stars for the location I would. Condo is no more than a 5 minute walk away from any downtown amenities all while enjoying a stunning mountain view from the living area or patio. The condo itself was quite large and was fully stocked with everything you could need such as a fully stocked kitchen, bbq and outdoor patio furniture, board games for the family, tons of books and guides for you to enjoy. The beds, pillows, and linens were all very comfortable. If this place is available I would highly recommend booking it.

We had an amazing stay at Jane’s place. Jane’s place was located within close walking distance to many restaurants in downtown Canmore and a short drive to Banff. Parking was free and directly below the unit - very easy to access. The condo was spotless, views were awesome, equipped with every thing you could think of, beds were extremely comfortable, and the coffee that Jane provided was phenomenal. We (a group of four adults) just had a wonderful 4 nights at Jane’s place. Location is extremely close to downtown and we are pleasantly surprised by the quality of the apartment. nice furniture, cookware and all the small kitchen appliances you ever need! The only thing to point out is parking could be tight if you have a large vehicle. Highly recommended!!!

We loved our stay in Canmore!! Beautiful, luxurious apartment with stunning views across the majestic Rocky mountains. Host extremely friendly and wonderful to deal with, easy check-in, free underground parking, great central location, (but quiet apartment) - few minutes walk to shops, great restaurants and river walks. Exceeded expectations - warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation - beautiful linen, full kitchen, with nice attention to detail. Highly recommend, and would love to return someday!

Have been to many AirBnBs and hotels around the world, and El Paraiso was among the best. It was immaculate, and the view is sweeping, breathtaking, and dramatic. Many mornings were spent tucked up in the easy chairs by the main window, drinking hot mugs while taking in the surroundings.
The place itself is well built and the furniture is new and contemporary. The kitchen is kitted out with all a chef would need, down to meat thermometers and grilling gear. The coffee was delicious and strong, and we stopped by the local coffee shop to pick up beans to take home.
Everything worked and was maintained. The property management team was flexible, clear, and responsive. Most everything we needed to know was in a binder when we arrived.
Basically, couldn't have asked for an easier, nicer, or smoother vacation, and hope to come back and stay again.
Also - secure underground parking in downtown Canmore!

This was our second stay at their location and it was great again. The unit is very well located in town and within walking distance of the Main St. Condo is in excellent condition, always very clean and the check-in process is easy to follow. It was our first winter trip to Banff. Jane was very patient answering our questions; the check in instructions were very clear, and we were easily able to enter property. The unit offered everything we need, as if it were our home. It even had rice cooker!
