If quality and style are important to you, this is the perfect space for your Rocky mountain adventure. Pictures do not do justice to the craftsmanship and the stunning views from every window. Perfectly located within walking distance to downtown, great restaurants & bars, coffee shops & supermarkets. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, and the lovely bathrooms are stocked with local Rocky Mountain Soap Company body wash, shampoo and conditioner. This townhouse is perfectly suited to families or groups of friends. If you are a group needing more than one unit, talk to us about a group booking for one of our other properties on 2nd Avenue. El Refugio is air conditioned for your comfort, and just 15 minutes drive to Banff.
The layout of this home is perfect for families. Upstairs is a huge kitchen, dining and living area with a massive south-facing deck with seating for 8 and a BBQ. Inside on this same level is a half bath and laundry, as well as the master suite with king bed and walk in shower. Downstairs is another full bathroom with a tub/shower and two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 contains a queen bed, and bedroom 2 has two sets of bunk beds (sleeping 4 in total). Also downstairs is a spacious entry and mudroom for all your storage needs. Parking is out front on the driveway, where there is room for 2 small cars, and plenty of street parking as well.

Guests have access to all areas of the townhouse except the garage.

2nd Ave lies just off the main access road in and out of Canmore. The townhouse is perfectly placed for quick access by road to hiking and skiing in Banff National Park. Within a 5 minute walk you can enjoy the amazing French pastries at Le Fournil, an amazing meal at Crazyweed Kitchen or Ankor restaurant, or grab some freshly roasted coffee to take home from Eclipse Coffee Roastery. Supermarkets are a 5-10 minute walk, and downtown Canmore with its shopping and restaurant scene is a 10-15 minute walk from the condo.

Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes can be rented from Gear Up, a 5 minute walk from the home.

The house was impeccably clean with gorgeous mountain views. Large, well stocked kitchen and clean comfortable rooms. While we spent most of our time hiking in Banff National Park, it was obvious that there were lots of restaurants and trails to walk to from the house if we had wanted to. Would stay here again!

Newish condo with beautiful views. Clean, modern design with great balcony. We were a party of 7. Everyone had their own bed plus space to spare. Glad we stayed in Canmore vs the more touristy Banff. Jane left a list of great restaurant recommendations that we used for breakfast through dinner. Grocery story to bakery within walking distance. All lived up to expectations. We highly recommend this place for a quick weekend trip or a long week trip. The two-storey condo was as described and if there were any changes made, we were notified of them up until our booking. Our host was extremely friendly, and very quick to reply to all of our messages. The check in and out process was very easy and straight forward. The condo is very well taken care of and even had a bonus mud room to hang all of our snowboarding gear for both families.
