"Evergreen" at Solara Resort
Located 15 minutes from Banff, and approximately one hour from Calgary, this home away from home comes with a fully equipped kitchen and two lovely covered patios with BBQ and seating to enjoy the mountain air. Both bedrooms offer private ensuite bathrooms with scrumptious soft towels, king beds and luxury hotel linens. We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!). Complementary heated underground parking provided.
Guests have access to all parts of the condo, and all amenities in Solara Resort & Spa
Solara Resort and Spa is located in the main tourist condo area. The local bus is nearby, with connections to a bus to Banff , Lake Louise and Calgary. If you come by airport shuttle the stop is a couple of minutes up the road. This is a licensed, legal condo, so your booking is assured. Coffee shops, liquor store, general store etc. are all 5 minutes walk away. If you need a little pampering, One Wellness spa is gorgeous, and is located within Solara Resort. There are restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by, see our Welcome Book for details.
Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes can be rented from Gear Up, a 15 minute walk from Solara.
Free parking is provided for one vehicle. Additional vehicles must pay $20 per day. One bedroom tv is currently broken and awaiting replacement.

We traveled from US to experience the Canadian Rockies and Montana. Staying at Solara was perfect. It felt like home, the coffee was great and so were the beds and we enjoyed the hot tub and spa. Also liked walking to nearby town center and local shops. We loved everything about our trip especially staying in Canmore as it was only a short drive to Banff and really has a unique mountain town charm. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!!

This was a great place to stay. Canmore is a great community itself, alongside Banff, and there was a lot to see and do in the area. The kitchen was great for preparing breakfast and packing lunches for the day's adventure. The rooms were comfortable and private. I especially enjoyed grinding the provided coffee beans each morning for fresh coffee. The balcony was a fantastic place to gaze at the mountains over morning coffee. This was a great home base for our Banff adventure.

Great place where we felt so comfortable. The place is superbly furnished, offers everything you need and is very clean! The second room offers great privacy. The kitchen is super equipped. The underground parking garage is great. The city center is within walking distance along a beautiful path. Communication with Jane was very pleasant, and check-in/check-out was more than easy. We would come back anytime!

We couldn’t be happier with the experience and the accommodation. Jane was very attentive. The instructions for parking were extremely helpful. We were impressed with the lodge itself, loved the separate but connected suites - great for travelling with extended family members. Kitchen was set up with all the things to make great breakfast and reheat leftovers. Was a beautiful walk into town and free bus back. The window views of the mountains were always breathtaking. Showers, bath and pool were all great for our daughter. It was a great experience. It’s reigniting our appreciation for air bnb which we have moved away from usually.

Jane was a wonderful host from the day we booked, throughout the stay and up till departure. She responded promptly to all questions and sorted out problems with parking. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed. It was very comfortable and clean. Beds were great, views from balcony were lovely.

The view, the location was epic. The room was beautiful. Love the 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms. Worked amazingly for 2 couples. Short walk to downtown Canmore. We visited the hot-tub everyday. The pool was smaller than we expected. Overall, an amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay. There were two couples in our party and the condo was perfect for us! Easy to take the bus to the town center - walkable, but we didn’t want to walk that far. We would definitely stay again if/when we come back.
