Located 15 minutes from Banff, and approximately one hour from Calgary, this recently renovated home away from home comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely patio with seating for four to enjoy the mountain air. Complimentary parking in our secure, heated underground parkade (clearance height 6'5") means you can lock up your vehicle no matter what the weather.

We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee. Our apartment is stocked with locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!).

Best suited for couples, there is extra accommodation for 1-2 on the sofa bed in the living room if you need it. The heated outdoor pool and two hot tubs are a welcome place to revive sore muscles after a day of adventure, and if you want to work off dinner, there is a small but functional gym in the building.

Canmore offers loads of opportunities for the adventurous and serene alike. Hike, bike, climb, ski, white water raft or canoe, and when you need a little downtime, settle with a picnic blanket and a book in a park besides the river in summer, or cosy up in front of the fire in winter.

This property is zoned by the Town of Canmore for vacation rentals. It does not require a separate business license for 2026.

The condo is exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay. The pool and hot tubs are shared with other resort guests. Please note that front desk services and hotel staff assistance are not included.

Blackstone Mountain Lodge is located in the main tourist condo area. The local bus is nearby, and there's a bus to Banff and Calgary close by. If you come by airport shuttle the stop is a couple of minutes up the road. This is a licensed, legal condo, so your booking is assured. Coffee shops, liquor store, general store etc. are all 5 minutes walk away.

Canmore is small and easy to get around on foot, by car or by public transit. There is public transportation within Canmore, and to/from Banff. Information about Canmore Roam Transit timetables are provided in the condo. Public transport within Canmore is free.

Please note that the pool will be closed for lighting installation from September 27-30th, 2026. During this time, the hot tub will remain open.

A Wonderful Stay!

We walked downtown for dinner. It was an easy walk and so nice to be out of the car after a day of exploring. Loved the clothes washing option after a week on the road. It was pretty and comfortable.

This stay was absolutely incredible. All the instructions provided before we got there allowed our after midnight arrival to go seamless. The location is amazing- such a beautiful town to stay in and gives you access to all the surrounding hikes you could possibly imagine. In the evening, we were able to walk to get dinner and drinks at some of the places and in the morning, we enjoyed walking to 2 close by coffee shops. The place had absolutely everything you could need. The pool and hot tubs were great after a day of hiking. Will recommend this place over and over again!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean, the bed and pillows were super comfortable and the condo was easy access around town. Our only negative was the active pool/hot tub below us and the highway noise. Obviously that is not by fault of the owner but did keep us from enjoying the patio and leaving the doors open to the cool air. Otherwise it was a great visit to Canada. Jane was very communicative and we met the housekeeper on the way out. She was also very nice and visited with us about Canmore and the area - only making us want to visit again in the future.

We had a lovely couples weekend at Jane’s condo. Everything was as described and pictured with all that you need available for a perfect stay. The condo is clean, bed is comfy and kitchen is equipped to cook! The balcony is spacious with seating overlooking the pool. You can hear the highway traffic, so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. But this small detail does not take away from the breathless view of the mountains. The pool and hot tubs on site are a welcome treat after a day of hiking. The BBQs for use are top notch! The condo is an easy walking distance to Canmore town center and you don’t want to miss walking along Spring Creek! The underground parking is a bonus with plenty of spots and an elevator to the top floor condo. The host is very responsive and easy to chat with. We were able to alter our reservation with no issue. We highly recommend this perfect space for a year round getaway and can’t wait to return!

Jane’s condo was absolutely awesome. Roomy, super comfortable furniture and bed was amazing. Kitchen had everything you would ever need and even several microwave containers which are usually a rarity in many places I have stayed. The verandah looked directly up at several imposing mountain peaks - spectacular!!! The pool and hot tubs were the cherry on the cake. With trails surrounding you and being 10 mins walk downtown to a plethora of restaurants we rarely used our car which was securely parked in the underground garage. We are already planning another trip and will definitely be staying at Jane’s.

It’s all about the customer service. Jane was incredibly responsive. We had an issue (which was stressful) and requested early check-in and later check-out. Both were accommodated due to our circumstances. This honestly kicked off an amazing vacation and we really appreciated it. Communication was quick any time we had a question. The unit was functional, comfortable and clean. It overlooked the pool and had a great view of the mountains. Slept well every night. It was close to all the restaurants and shops (5-10 minute walk). Would recommend this place and will definitely book here again.

Okay spot in Canmore - the room is an inside corner room meaning your view is somewhat limited - and faces towards the trans canada highway fairly close by. Top floor is nice, but close to elevators so some noise from people coming and going. Place was clean, well appointed, and comfortable for our 3 night stay.

The two of us and our dog really enjoyed our stay. Our dog is quite anxious but seemed to feel right at home here, unlike a busy hotel. The host left very clear instructions that made our check in seamless. They provide a binder with info about the area/restaurants/transit everything! The bed was comfortable and the room included robes for the hot tubs. Hot tubs were awesome and super hot even on a cold day. We didn't notice the road noise as much as some mentioned, it was noticeable but not bad. The alarm clock with the wireless charger was nice but had an unexpected morning alarm (6AM) that we couldn't figure out how to stop without unplugging it. Very walkable to downtown but we only ever walked to the nearest convenience store. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials (oil, salt, pepper, utensils, pots/pans, saran wrap & tinfoil, etc). They also had coffee beans from my favorite Eclipse Cafe which was a highlight of my mornings. Would stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Jane and Shaun's. The condo was cozy and we loved the fireplace and swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog and the location is easily walkable to town and so many great cafes and restaurants. I would just mention that there was some road noise from the highway at night, so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Overall a wonderful stay!
