"The Pines" at Solara Resort
Located 15 minutes from Banff, and approximately one hour from Calgary, this lovely studio comes with a spacious bedroom with king bed plus a private ensuite bathroom with scrumptious soft towels, king beds and luxury hotel linens. We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!). Heated underground parking provided at a cost of $20 per day.
Guests have access to all parts of the studio, and all amenities in Solara Resort & Spa. There is an adjacent lock off one bedroom condo that is available to book should you need it (if available).
Solara Resort and Spa is located in the main tourist condo area. The local bus is nearby, with connections to a bus to Banff , Lake Louise and Calgary. If you come by airport shuttle the stop is a couple of minutes up the road. This is a licensed, legal condo, so your booking is assured. Coffee shops, liquor store, general store etc. are all 5 minutes walk away. If you need a little pampering, One Wellness spa is gorgeous, and is located within Solara Resort. There are restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by, see our Welcome Book for details.
Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes can be rented from Gear Up, a 15 minute walk from Solara.

My mom and I had a great time at Jane’s place! It was peaceful and only a short walking distance from the bus stop. The place was exactly as pictured and apart from a small hiccup with the microwave not working, it was a pleasant stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a wonderful place to stay. Perfectly matches all the descriptions and is a perfect spot to rest your head at night. We came with the intention of spending a lot of time in Banff but ended up spending more in Canmore. So much to do and this place is right off of a walking trail that takes you to some great breweries. Jane is incredibly responsive and is very proactive in her communication. Would definitely recommend to a friend and hope to stay here when we return!

Jane was very easy to contact and very supportive. I had failed to read the check-in instructions carefully, but she walked me through the whole thing after normal business hours. She also replaced a mal-functioning microwave in a very timely way. The condo was very nice -- the only thing I'd say as a drawback is that it's pretty small, but I believe it was good value for the market.

From start to finish Jane was an amazing host. From providing so much detail for check-in and always being responsive to making sure I knew everything I needed to and providing one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Jane was also very flexible with my checking in and checking out. The place was so clean and spotless. The parking was great and the location is amazing. This was a small but lovely place to stay. The photos make it look bigger than it is but the bed was comfortable and the fireplace and tiny view gave it a cozy vibe. The book of recommendations and tips was really nice to have since we’ve never visited the area. I will say the book was a bit misleading because it includes staying in the entire suite instead of just the room we booked (I assume) so there was a lot of info I read that included washing dishes, doing laundry, etc. We just stayed in hotel room with none of those accommodations so it was odd. The “bathroom fan” is not in the bathroom, it’s in the main room so it was useless. The fridge doesn’t have any freezer slot or drawer which was a bummer since we road tripped and had ice packs to freeze. The room is right by the elevator which is convenient but it could be annoying for light sleepers. Parking spots are tight but we had no trouble finding one at any point. Overall good stay!

Jane was extremely helpful sending clear instructions on how to check into the room. The room itself was exactly what we needed, close to Banff, clean and quite. My only one recommendation would be a few extra bowls/utensils. Other than that 10/10 and would definitely stay again.

This cozy property lies within the the Solara Resort community. It is a 10-15 minute walk into the city centre of Canmore where there are many great shops and restaurants. We really liked the Blake brewery/restaurant for its food and drinks which was only a 5 minute walk away from the property. We were really impressed by Canmore's setting and gorgeous mountains that surround the area. Jane's directions to get to and into the property were spot on, including accessing the secure underground parking arcade. From there, it was a quick elevator ride up to the floor where the property is located.

We enjoyed our stay. The space is small (more like the size of a hotel room), but totally fine for a couple. It’s very walkable to the roam bus and a few restaurants. Access to the pool & hot tub are a nice perk. Considering the prices in Banff, this place is a great deal!

We had an excellent stay at the bnb. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. Parking and check-in process was very easy especially given that there was one code that worked everywhere. The location is excellent if visiting Canmore and Banff. Lots of restaurants were walkable and the public transport to Banff was 10 minute walk as well. There is a coffee shop downstairs which was great for morning coffee and quick breakfast before heading out for our day. Would certainly stay here again if visiting the Banff area.

Wonderful stay with Jane at this Canmore resort! Everything was as described - clean and comfortable! The bed and pillows were more comfortable than most hotels we've been staying at recently! Banff Town and the park were very easy to get to from Canmore as well. The town itself has everything you need - groceries, restaurants, trails, etc. 10/10 recommend!

Jane's condo was perfectly located in Canmore along a walking/biking trail that we definitely took advantage of during our stay. We loved the proximity to hiking trails and good restaurants! The only downside was that the space was a bit small and we couldn't really wash our dishes very well in the bathroom sink as there was no separate kitchenette sink. Our neighbors next door were also quite loud, so expect the shared wall to not be completely sound-proof. But other than that, I'm still rating this 5 stars because we found that the location, price, ease of access, and the fact that they had parkade/garage parking included was excellent! Jane was also very responsive via chat before and during our stay. Would certainly stay here again!

Jane was very responsive, and very accommodating as I was not aware how small the space was (was not necessarily anyone's fault. I read reviews about the space next door.)
The code did not work when we arrived- and after a long trip- Jane was quick to respond for an alternate code.
The space was not as "spacious" as I would've hoped. She understood and gave us a full refund. Overall recommend booking with Jane, even though the space was not for us.

Great spot to launch all adventures from. Walkable to town and various bars and restaurants. You can hear the guests in the adjoining room through the door abs bathroom vents which is a little awkward but overall people are respectful or the quiet hours and it never kept us up. View out the window is amazing.
